Tell as many people
as you can of this project and request them to provide us cuttings or
pruning or plants they are going to discard so that we can propagate
them. |

Look out for
friends, neighbours or relatives who have given up gardening as a hobby
and request them to contribute their gardening tools and material, such
as,
- pots
- soil
- pesticide
- fertilizer

Someone's
renovating? |
Is your neighbour
renovating their home or going to pave their garden soon? Tell them not to discard their
turf. Have them contact Project Coordinator, Nancy Poh, to see if
there is anything we can salvage for the project. |

For those who are
interested but do
not know how or what propagating plants is about, tell them to collect
free planting information from Tadika Si Manis. Here is our link to

Share Resources |
Do you enjoy
gardening or have a maid (possibly a farmer in her country) who is good at
it? Do you have a gardening idea using scrap material, such
as, coconut husk, coconut fibre, logs, etc?
Get your maid to work with you to grow more greens. Do you know
anyone who is willing to give talks on making compost or organic
fertilizer or pesticide? Get them to help you conduct talks. |

Remove Your
Clutters |
Look around your
home to see if there is anything that you no longer require that could be
used to help build up a greener environment in your neighbourhood. |

Look for supporters |
Do you know of any
company who distribute 1 page advertisement flyers?
Request them to allow you to print your green
information on the blank side. Tell them that their flyers will not
be discarded as these will be kept by people who wants your green
information. |

ideas on blogs or display them on a notice board of schools supporting the project.

young about it? Write about it. |
| Take pictures of
what you have planted or made using scrap material. Display them whenever you
have the opportunity. |
| Do you have a
favourite recipes using leftovers? Tell others about it
or post it on your blog to help reduce waste. |

Ideas For Funfair To
Help the Needy and Support Green Campaigns |
Do you have any
plants which you can sell to raise funds
during the funfair? Do you know of anyone who are discarding their
plants because they are overcrowding their garden? Tell them about
your project. |
| Are you good at
handicraft? Write about the scrap material you use to make your craft
and post pictures on how it is done. Teach the students of schools supporting the project about recycling and
show them how to make craft using scrap materials. Stuff produced
can be put out for sales at funfairs organised by the school. |

Do
you have any clothes or toys the kids have outgrown?
Organise a jumble sales or use them for games and prizes during
funfairs. |
